Stop bullying: Evidence from an exploratory factor analysis of dominant bullying behaviors among Malaysian adolescent

Bullying, a recurring aggressive and substantial antisocial behavior characterized by power imbalance can be destructive, persistent causes harm. Bullying is negative on individuals or groups of who are considered weak that occurs more frequently among adolescents between the ages 13–16. in schools violence result students feeling threatened powerless. This study was conducted to identify constructs measure physical, verbal, anti-social, cyberbullying. A total 677 samples from 23 secondary northern peninsula Malaysia were involved this cross-sectional survey research design used questionnaire collect data. Exploratory factor analysis analyze The results showed four factors namely, physical bully, verbal bullying, cyberbullying prevalent Malaysian adolescents. reliability value for each high, which ranged .73 .89. Out bullying study, has highest loading. In conclusion, proven also face where most dominant bullying. data imply school leaders, Ministry Education, community should view matter seriously youths educated dangers have impact development society as whole.
